Day 1

Manali: Arrive and delight in a day at leisure

The delight of your Himachal family package begins as the agent’s representative assists you in boarding a cab from Chandigarh to Manali. On your arrival in Manali, an agent’s representative will welcome and escort you to the hotel. After completing the check-in formalities at the hotel, you will be served a wholesome breakfast. Now, you have the entire day at your disposal. You can choose to relax or make the best of your leisure day. The best way to utilize your leisure day is to go shopping. The main shopping area in this picture-postcard hill town is The Mall. You can buy rugs, footwear, a broad array of Tibetan handicraft items, and local Kinnauri and Kullu shawls. Come back to the hotel after a pleasurable shopping spree. Enjoy a delectable dinner and a relaxing sleep.

Day 2

Manali: Enjoy a day at local religious places

Greet the morning that presents you with a delicious visual treat around. Now, enjoy a nutritious breakfast with your loved ones before starting for today’s trip. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, which is more than 450 years old. The temple’s three tiers of square roof are clad in timber tiles, whereas the conical roof is covered in metal. Next on the trip is Tibetan Monastery, which fragrances with Tibetan incense sticks and adds to the tranquility of the atmosphere. A Thangka school of arts and a carpet-weaving centre is also operated by this monastery to preserve the ancient Tibetan art. Also, handicrafts are available here that you can buy as souvenirs. After you have visited these shrines, you have remaining day at leisure. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll across this pine-scented town, laced by shimmering mountains to which the rebellious Beas River adds music. Day 3

Manali: A splendid Solang Valley trip awaits you

The morning treats you to a delicious breakfast at the hotel. It is now time to set off for an exhilarating day trip to Solang valley. Be prepared to delight in the breathtaking vistas of glistening glaciers and majestic mountains, topped with snow. The valley hosts winter skiing festival as well as provides skiing training to vacationers. You can have a great skiing session here with your kids (charges extra). In summers, when the snow melts, the valley turns into a haven for horse riding, yak riding, paragliding, and zorbing (charges extra). To enjoy the flavors, head to Manali market and Mall Road. Go for local eateries serving Chilra, Sidu, and Bedhni rotis among other delicacies. After sampling the local flavors, come back to the hotel to relax. When the night falls, enjoy a tempting dinner served and retire for the night while thinking about the fun-filled day you enjoyed today. Day 4

Shimla: Arrival and sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast with your family in Manali before checking-out from the hotel. Today you will be taken to Manikaran – a renowned site of hot water springs. These natural springs are believed to have therapeutic properties. Once you arrive in Manikaran, visit The Rama Temple, which is constructed in pyramidal style. After you have paid homage at this temple dedicated to Lord Rama, head to Gurudwara of Shri Narayan Hari, also known as Manikaran Sahib. Manikaran Sahib is amongst the most esteemed Sikh worship places of India. After taking pleasure in this religious trip, proceed to Shimla as per this Shimla family tour package. On arrival, check-in to the hotel in Shimla and freshen up to beat the journey fatigue. Get ready to explore attractions of this pleasing Queen of Hills. Day 5

Shimla: Sightseeing and departure back home

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out from the hotel. Today, you will be exploring a few more attractions of Shimla. To start with, you will be taken to Vice Regal Lodge, which is a heritage building, tucked on the Observatory Hill. Now, the edifice is an Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS). Your visit is followed by Christ Church - an 1857 structure constructed in neo–gothic style. Next on this Shimla family tour package are trips to Gaiety Theatre, Scandal Point, Jakhoo Temple, and Sankat Mochan Temple. Visiting these places with family helps you get a better insight of history of Shimla as well as spectacular views. Package valid only for Indian nationals.
It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in and also during the whole trip.
The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, and Aadhaar/UIDAI Card. Note- PAN Card is not accepted as a valid ID card.
The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Life on Vacations will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in and check-out time varies from hotel to hotel.
We are not holding any rooms or airline seats as of now and above mentioned is quote only, subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel (as per availability) will be provided.
The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc.) or optional tours/ extra meals are not Inclusive in the package cost.
In case of no show or late cancellation after confirmation, charges will be applicable as per the Life on Vacations cancellation policy.
All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, it will be switched off in the hills.
Itinerary provided is suggestive and the actual sightseeing will be done as per availability and as per scheduled time.

Life on vacations will not bear any cost arising due to lockdown or restriction of movement by government or law enforcement authorities.
Rates are subject for different season and final price will be communicated for finalizing the trip and all payment will be made afterwards.
Any portage at airports and hotels, tips, room service, insurance, wine, boating charge Guide / Entrance fees, porters, palanquins or Ponies is not included in package.
Life on vacations will not bear any cost arising due to any increase in government taxes or fuel, leading to increase in surface transportation, airfare & land arrangements.
Guide services are also not included.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation before 31 or more days to departure. 15% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation.
Cancellation between 22 to 30 days prior to departure. 35% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation.
Cancellation between 15 to 21 days prior to departure. 50% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation.
Cancellation within 15 days before departure. 100% of package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation.
Bank transaction charges apply on credit card/net banking refunds.
